So, did anyone just start school? Does anyone like it or want to share their favorite subject? Hey, don't make fun of me because I am inquisitive. I have a lovely bunch of coconuts. Dee. Dee. Dee. Dee. There they are, oh, standing in a row. Dum. Dum. Dum. Big ones. Small ones... I ate the lovely coconuts but they tasted like boiled kittens...

I'm only 16,I don't mind school too much.I can't really do anything about it,so I just learn to put up with it.I go to an Irish Language school(You'd be amazed how many of them are in the country, the number rises with every year too, which is great to see)So we do EVERY class in Irish except other language classes. It's alright,I'm on the school Hurling team,we're pretty good so between that and the odd trip every now and then it's alright I suppose...

Good to hear a chara, didn't know they had many of those in Dublin, I have friends that one to one in Donegal of course but wouldn't expect that from Dublin. I am learing Irish myself, I need to work harder thou. If you are interested in Republicanism a chara, I suggest you go to my website: www.upthera.net , and if you want I can send you an article on the Irish language and the National Struggle.

I think that's really cool. I never thought about all Irish Language schools before. I've never seen any kind of hurling either. I've always been a choir geek, myself.

Mike and I stumbled into a hurling match when we were in Cork trying to find the Cork City Goal. Lots of men with short shorts and big sticks. I should post pictures. It's like whay lacrosse was meant to be.
On a Gaelic language note, I am part of this Gaelic livejournal community and someone posted something about how the series "Teach Yourself Irish" is fairly good at helping you learn the language. Has anyone checked it out? I was supposed to take a Gaelic class last year, but it conflicted with my other classes so it didn't pan out.

If you are interested in Republicanism a chara, I suggest you go to my website: www.upthera.net , and if you want I can send you an article on the Irish language and the National Struggle. Sorry for the delay getting back to you, haven't been online much.Upthera.net is a brilliant site, the Documents and Speeches being my favourite part of the site.Good photos too.Well done on the website There are lots of Irish Language schools all over the country, more than ever. The Youth of the country seem to have re-awoken to their past and traditions,I go to an Irish Secondary School, which has two Irish Primary schools near by(And only one English language school)So its safe to say the "Teanga" is alive and well here still.Good to see more young people taking an interest in Irish Unity as well, the future of the island is looking good from my eyes anyway. I'd love to read the article, feel free to send it on,sláinte. Anyone learning Irish should check out beo.ie It's an Irish based site that reports current events in Irish, like the recent Loyalist Riots and all kinds of other stuff.Updated often too. It's important those who care keep Irish alive,"Tír gan teanga,tír gan anam".
