How goes it, Charm City Saints?
Came across your platter via the trusty ol' Shite'n'Turnips site; great sound and I'd love to catch it live. Very nice page, too, by the way. You oughtta mark yourselves as a permanent post in the BANDS section of the Shite'n'Onions messageboard.
And I always really like a band that makes sure they've got shithot t-shirts and stickers. I play accordian and tin whistle meself and have just joined what will be the new & improved version of a band called Mutiny, who'll be doing a national tour throughout December. I'm also a credit-cardless bum (and as such, a debt-free bum!) ... I don't s'pose you've got any of those pretty t-shirts (in MEDium size) lying around you could forward to the Colonies, 'cause if yez were so very kind I'll wear it in press release photos and web-page photos and do my bit to spread the word in the real world and the e-world. Of course, you can always say " piss off you audacious bastard!" but I would wear the colours with due diligence. Whaddya reckon, worth a punt ? (And if you're feeling REALLY generous, I've still got room for a few stickers on my accordian case). Anway, I'd sort you out accordingly... Mutiny have got a new EP coming out that they recorded a couple of years ago and it is their best stuff so far, and I'm not just saying that 'cause I'm the new recruit.
Cheers & all the very best with gigging and general carousing, Guinness Is Good For You,

Hey All,
Disclaimer: Nah, nah SORRY ... I meant there's gunna be a national AUSTRALIAN tour in December ... BUT it seems like the idea is definitely to get to Amerikay next year and play with some great bands ... they've been to The States before, and like I say, I'm only the new boy. I'd really love to come over and check out some Tossers gigs ... I only just really found CCS too and I'd love to catch 'em. Fucken cool band name, too. ( And you can't blame me for trying to line up one of those t-shirts, the Olde English logo is VERY class !)
The new Mutiny EP - which obviously I didn't play on - is out very soon and it's real take-no-prisoners stuff.
Good to have hooked up with this site and messageboard.
All the best, 'Have A Guinness When You're Tired'

HEY CHARMERS or should that be SAINTS (if you played often enough in Australia, it'd be shortened to something or other, but - not blowing smoke - the name is about the best you could get for a bagpipe punk band),
How goes it ? Thanks again for that reply, Ayres; looking forward to the booty bigtime. I'll be spreading the good word on you boys, no worries about that.
You lot - and I mean the whole Charm City Community here - seem to get to a lot of good gigs. I didn't even know that NECK played that much, let alone went over to do gigs in Amerikay.
I'm looking forward to hearing the whole McKenzies platter; I was gunna buy it weeks ago but was too fucken broke - yes, I know I could get it pirate and all, but there's something fucken soulful about having the actual physical copy sometimes, eh ?
Cheers & All The Best !

Well, apparently San Francisco is a lot like Sydney, just to give you an idea, but Sydney is so brassy and up itself (and I was born there and still love it and know it backwards, by the way, so no bigotry here) that it probably puts a lot of people off, in its own way. I went to SF when I was a kid and I remember a similar vibe, that whole harbour city thing. Sydney is really shiny and powered-up and corporate, though. Put it this way: Sydney is Metropolis, Melbourne is Gotham. And then there's the other states ... I dunno, it's a continent, so it is hard to put into 100 words or less, but let's just say that tropical Queensland is known as 'The Deep North', as in your 'Deep South'. Melbourne is cool and grey and a sort of relic from the gold rush era that built it, Sydney is a port city with way too much money in the hands of way too many wankers. Still love it, but. If you know what I mean. Man, I'm a bit out of it here. Time for a trip to the bottle shop.
Salut ! Swillin' Will ;D Australia

Well, I've never been to San Francisco either.... I always thought of kangaroos and heat and pretty beaches when I thought of Austrailia. And that crocodile hunter guy...
